Description
Meril Filasilk Suture is a non-absorbable, braided silk surgical suture designed for superior handling, secure knotting, and optimal tissue compatibility. Composed of natural protein fibers derived from the Bombyx mori silkworm, Filasilk undergoes a proprietary degumming and coating process that enhances pliability and reduces capillarity. It is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological procedures, where prolonged tensile strength is desirable.
