Description

The Meril Filaprop Suture 4-0 – PPL40 849 Pack of 12 is a monofilament, synthetic non-absorbable, sterile surgical suture designed for reliable wound closure and long-term tissue support. Composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, this suture is intended for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including applications in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological procedures. Filaprop sutures are biologically inert, initiating a minimal inflammatory reaction in tissues, which is followed by gradual encapsulation by fibrous connective tissue. This product is supplied sterile and is intended for single-use only to prevent cross-contamination.
